One of the big attractions at the Georgia Aquarium are the four whale sharks. They are the largest fish species in the world and seeing them is magnificent. According to the speaker there who was educating the public, these fish eat anything and everything. The tank is full of other, smaller fish yet they are not eaten. Why? Well because although the whale sharks are so large their esophagus is only about the size of a quarter so they can only swallow very small fish. Amazing. The photos I took in no way show just how large these creatures are.
