Entertainment in Montana

One night Joey and I attended a dance. It was a 50th anniversary celebration for one Jordan couple. No formal invitations are sent out in a place like Jordan. If there is celebrating to be done, everyone is invited! We were entertained with some great music. Locals took turns getting up on the makeshift stage and playing and singing. The dance floor was filled with couples doing the two-step. It was a joy to watch as a grandfather would be dancing with his 10 year old granddaughter, teenagers dancing with parents, etc… and it seemed as natural as could be. In my mind I was thinking most teenagers would rather be anywhere else but these teens were enjoying life WITH their parents and grand parents. How refreshing! Another night Joey and I were invited to the home of a local family. We ate elk steak for dinner and were entertained by this musically talented family. What a fun night! The locals in Jordan are very friendly, down to earth people.
