Apple Hill

Located in Camino, CA is an area known as Apple Hill where there are more than 50 ranches with apple orchards, pumpkin patches, Christmas tree farms, wineries and microbreweries. The area is picturesque and from what I hear is a busy tourist area on weekends during the autumn months. We took a trip there during the week. Most were closed but a few were open for business and quite busy for a weekday. The apples smelled heavenly and there were all sorts of things to purchase from food, artwork and crafts to produce and souvenir trinkets. I bought a bag of chestnuts! YUM! It was interesting to see all the different themes at each ranch, some traditional and others whimsical. I’d love to go back there sometime and spend a few days visiting the various ranches. I did notice some RV parks in the area so who knows!
