Cat Stalker

I saw the Muscovy duck out in the yard this afternoon and decided to go feed him some crackers. He is so tame and comes right up to the RV. I noticed the neighbors cat was out in the yard too and was stalking the duck. I threw out the first few crackers and the duck quickly grabbed them and before I knew it the cat had pounced on the duck. The poor duck was trying to fly away, wings just flapping but he wasn't getting up in the air very far and the cat was relentless. The duck finally got away and made it to his safe haven in the lake with the cat follwing right behind him. Lucky for the duck the cat didn't jump in the water. Unfortunately that was the end of the duck eating the crackers. I will have to try it some other time when the cat is no where in site. Poor duck!
