Coon Dog Day Festival and Parade

On Saturday we went to the Coon Dog Day Festival and Parade in the tiny town of Saluda, North Carolina. Our granddaughter was in the parade so we had to go see her! For many years we lived only a few miles from Saluda, yet this was our first ever time to visit the festival. Saluda is one of those adorable little towns that I would love to spend an entire summer in. It is very small and only on one side of the road. Below are a few pictures we took of the day.
