Bluegrass Music

Last night we drove to the nearby town of Chesnee, SC to meet up with my Mom, step dad, and cousin, Irma. We went out to dinner then to a bluegrass show. On the second and fourth Saturday's one of the local establishments puts on a bluegrass show. It is a donation only event and each time a different band plays. Last night we were treated to a group called The Blue Ridge Rounders. What a delight! The typically play the "old time mountain music" which is really nice. I grew up in western North Carolina so I am familar with this type of music. Not only is this group very talented musically but they are also funny and entertaining. We had a fun 2 hours. Looking forward to going back again while we are still in this area to check out other groups performing there. Here are a couple of photos I took last night. One is of the group and the other is of a cute caution sign hanging on one of the doors in the venue.

I loved this sign! We need one of these for our campsite!
